With all the challenges presented by the state budget and for the sake of excellence in education, we must keep experience, proven leadership and established relationships. We need to keep Gordon Whitehead, CPA.

Our district now faces the daunting task of continuing our drive toward excellence in education with reduced funding. It is incumbent upon the Board of Education to provide solid leadership in allocating our resources in the most effective manner for all our students. My background of professional financial experience as a CPA and and my Board of Education experience has given me the skills to provide that leadership.

Your vote will be especially important this year as I expect the vote total to be low due to the lack of City Council elections in Agoura Hills and Westlake Village.

My Promise

Currently, I am the only member of the LVUSD Board of Education and the only candidate that brings the expertise of a CPA to the Board. Today, more than ever, it is imperative that we have a set of eyes on every aspect of the district, state and national budgets that can navigate the myriad complexities and ultimately build dollar solutions that will keep our district solvent.
